Naturally, everyone wants to know when Solo Leveling Season 3 is coming out. In this blog post, we’ll discuss every new update and provide the information you need to know about the Solo Leveling Season 3 Release Date. We will also give you a brief recap of the events until season 2.
Furthermore, we’ll discuss the things we can expect from the upcoming season. And provide you with an approximate Solo Leveling Season 3 Release Date for USA, UK, and worldwide viewers. So, let’s start.
Solo Leveling Season 3 Release Date and Time

Solo Leveling Season 2 closed its run on March 29, 2025 (March 30 in Japan) with 13 episodes, wrapping up the Jeju Island raid arc in the Winter 2025 cour. The season was first revealed right after Season 1 ended in 2024, so we fans were expecting another surprise reveal this time. But as of August 25, 2025, there has been no announcement of Season 3 from Aniplex, A-1 Pictures, or Crunchyroll News.
Jin-Woo stood tall after the Jeju battle, and then came a short end-credits sequence. Instead of a trailer or teaser, we saw Jin-Woo looking at the world beyond and saying he would “see us again.” It wasn’t an official renewal, but it worked as a promise straight from the character. Like saying “I will be back” with a quiet response that his story is far from finished.
Outside of that scene, no production update has been given. A lighthearted comment from producer Sota Furuhashi joked that fans might have to wait “until the next Olympics,” but this was never meant as a real schedule. Industry reports suggest late 2026 as the earliest possible timeline, with 2027 more realistic given the usual gaps in TV anime production. So far, there are no teasers, key visuals, or event announcements confirming work on a third season.
Solo Leveling Season 3 might get delayed
Solo Leveling Season 2 was officially announced on March 30, 2024, just minutes after Episode 12 of Season 1 aired. The announcement came during the end credits, and Crunchyroll posted the news immediately after on their website and YouTube. It was fast, clear, and exciting.
But this time, Season 2 ended on March 29, 2025, with Episode 13. And till now, there is no word about Season 3. No teaser, no event, no tweet from A‑1 Pictures or Crunchyroll. It feels strange worrying.
We have seen this happen before. Shows like No Game No Life (2014), Tower of God (2020), The God of High School (2020), and Deadman Wonderland (2011) gained huge attention in their first seasons. But none of them returned, even after years of waiting. Even Bleach fans had to wait a full decade for TYBW. I seriously hope Solo Leveling Season 3 will not go down this path. Any new updates will be posted here, so stay tuned.
Recap of Solo Leveling Season 1 and 2
Solo Leveling Season 1 Recap

In Season 1, we saw Jin-Woo at his lowest point. He was weak, injured, and barely survived the double dungeon. But that moment changed everything. After waking up in the hospital, he found a strange system that let him grow stronger by clearing quests and leveling up.
From that point, his journey started. You saw him fight monsters alone inside hidden dungeons. He took down traitors during raids. He teamed up with Jin-Ho and cleared dungeon after dungeon. And finally, he faced the deadly Job Change Quest. That was where he became a Necromancer and started walking the path of the Shadow Monarch.
Solo Leveling Season 2 Recap
Season 2 showed how far Jin-Woo had come. He got trapped inside a Red Gate during a school raid, but he stayed calm and made sure Han Song-Yi got out alive. Then he entered the Demon Castle, an S-Rank dungeon with 100 floors, to find a cure for his mother. After clearing every floor, he got the Elixir of Life and brought her back.
Next, Jin-Woo went for a rank retest to finally be recognized as an S-Rank Hunter. While waiting for his license, he joined a mining team under the Hunters Guild and ended up fighting Kargalgan, the boss of an A-Rank dungeon.
The final arc was the biggest. A joint raid was planned to take back Jeju Island from the ants. Jin-Woo joined the Korean-Japanese team and fought the powerful Ant King. He also used his shadow ability to bring back Beru, one of the strongest enemies he had ever faced.
