Recap of Seasons 1 and 2

This contains spoilers!!
Haruka Sakura, a lone fighter, joins Furin High, a school packed with delinquents. On his first day, he steps into two fights, both while defending a local girl, Kotoha Tachibana. This brings him into contact with Bofurin, a group of students who protect the streets of Makochi.
He joins the group and meets key members like Suo, Hiiragi, Nirei, and Umemiya. Their main enemy in Season 1 is Shishitoren, a rival gang led by Choji Tomiyama. Fights break out across the city. The climax of season 1 happens between Umemiya vs Choji. After that, the city gets some peace.
Season 2 brings in a new gang: KEEL. This group comes with bad intentions and throws the town into chaos again. Bofurin steps up to fight, and Ren Kaji — a new face — becomes a big part of the story. He faces KEEL’s leader and helps end that threat.
But it does not stop there. New second-year students come in. Rivalries start building inside Furin. Bofurin’s values get tested as new challenges show up from inside and outside. Season 2 ends with tension still in the air.
Manga Progress and Adaptation Potential
The Wind Breaker manga started on January 13, 2021. As of March 2025, it has 21 volumes. The anime follows the manga closely. Season 1 covered up to Chapter 41. Season 2 picked up from there.
The pace of the adaptation is steady. The manga is still running strong, and there are more arcs left that go beyond the events of Season 2. That means the source material is ready. If the same pace continues, Season 3 can easily cover the next major arcs from the manga. So yes, the content for Season 3 is there.
Wind Breaker English dub status
The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll. Season 1 of Wind Breaker has all its episodes dubbed in English. The English dub for Season 2 started on April 17, 2025.
In the End
Wind Breaker gave you two seasons full of gang fights, loyalty, and city pride. It never wasted time on drama. It got straight to the fists, the pain, and the friendships built through battle. That is why it became a fan favorite in such a short time.
