Massive Size Increase
While transformed, Loki becomes even more colossal. He is described as barely fitting inside Aurust Castle’s halls, which were already constructed for giants.

Clawed Physical Traits
His transformed state includes visible claws on his fingertips. This is one of the few clearly described physical features of the Zoan form.

Combat Power Surge
Immediately after transforming in Chapter 1170, Loki fights Harald and severely injures him. This means that the fruit dramatically increases his combat output right away.

Ice-Based Named Technique – “Niflheim”
In Chapter 1171, after the flashback returns to the present, Loki demonstrates his power to Luffy. He attacks a Draugr MMA in Elbaf’s Underworld using a strike with Ragnir called “Niflheim” (rendered as “Nibelheim” in the VIZ translation). The attack instantly covers the target in thick ice.

Loki’s Devil Fruit is described as Elbaf’s national treasure.

In Chapter 1170, King Harald explains that no one could consume the fruit because Ragnir did not choose them. Ragnir serves as the guardian of the sacred Devil Fruit and attacks anyone it judges unworthy.

Harald states that Ragnir guarded the fruit for hundreds of years. During that entire period, no one was deemed worthy until Loki. This is what makes it legendary.

The legend is reinforced by what happened next. After Loki consumed the fruit, Elbaf reacted violently. The story records that fourteen years ago, a massive battle erupted inside Aurust Castle. Loki allegedly killed Harald and 113 warriors during that event.

Aurust Castle was heavily damaged in that battle. The chest that once held Elbaf’s legendary Devil Fruit became part of the island’s remembered national tragedy.
