We fans kept watching I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince for one reason. It never took itself too seriously. The magic was wild. The comedy was silly. And Lloyd’s experiments kept going out of control. Season 2 gave us more of everything and was a fitting continuation.
From angel fights in the sky to church secrets that shook the kingdom, Season 2 ended strong. It finished airing on September 24, 2025. And now that it is done, one question is stuck in everyone’s head: when will I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Season 3 come out?
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Season 3 Release Date
Till now, TV Tokyo, Kodansha, and the animation team have not confirmed for I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Season 3. But we can guess a few things from the past pattern.
Season 1 aired from April 1 to June 18, 2024. It was made by Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab and directed by Jin Tamamura. After that, Season 2 started on July 9, 2025, and ended on September 24, 2025. That means the gap between both seasons was around 13 months.
If the same timing continues, then the next season will most likely come out in mid or late 2026. Maybe Summer 2026 or Fall 2026. Not earlier than that. The manga is also in good health, with 20 volumes published by August 2025, so there is no problem with source material.
So what now? Just wait a little. Once the team finishes with Season 2 promotions, they might drop a teaser or renewal. Until then, the safest answer is this — Season 3 is unconfirmed, and the earliest possible release is sometime in 2026.

Story So Far: Season 2 Highlights of the 7th Prince
Season 2 began with Lloyd fighting a flying angel. That one fight told us everything. His goal is still the same: research anything that relates to magic.
The early episodes brought back the full gang — Lloyd, Ren, Grim, and Shiro. In the background, Lordost Island was getting rebuilt. Galilea took charge of that part. So you get your comedy, your world-building, and all the usual chaos.
Then came the church drama. Escher returned. Her past was messy. Her awkward talk with the church father made things tense. But she handled it. She also had a history with Lloyd. On the other side, Saria kept causing her own messes. Her recital with Escher was supposed to be peaceful. But it triggered something big. Lloyd saw an angel above. Then boom — he got teleported high into the sky, and the same angel fight started again.
Later in the season, things got even more serious. The secret priest turned out to be Pope Guitane. In that battle, Lloyd used spatial transfer to save the King and Prince Albert, and then went all out against Guitane. At the same time, Ren, Tao, and the others were stuck fighting chimeras blocking their way.
Plot Arcs Expected in I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Season 3

Season 2 finished the Holy Birth Festival arc from the manga (Vol. 8–10), then the next step is clear. The anime will go into the Bartram arc.
Here, Lloyd teams up with Prince Zerof to build the strongest golem ever. Then both of them head to the Nation of Bartram, where they join a golem fighting tournament. This arc is already set up in Volume 12, and Volume 13 starts with: “The Golem Championships Begins!”
But it is not just about fighting. During the tournament, a strange boy named Yd (イド) appears. He traps Lloyd in a barrier and acts like he knows him. This mystery becomes a key part of the arc.
Before the tournament, the anime may also show the short manga events from Volume 11 — mainly Sylpha’s past and her links to the Assassins’ Guild. These parts will help balance out the pacing before the real tournament begins.
So what should you expect in Season 3?
- Lloyd and Zerof building their dream golem
- Bartram’s big tournament full of magic battles
- Yd’s mystery and his strange link to Lloyd
This part of the manga is fast, fun, and packed with new faces. If adapted right, Season 3 will be even bigger than Season 2.

Streaming Platforms for Season 3
Since Season 3 is not confirmed, no platform has been announced yet. But the past two seasons followed the same release model. So there is a strong chance the same platforms will return.
Here is how it worked:
- Crunchyroll handled the global simulcast outside Asia. Season 2 streamed weekly starting July 2025. Even the English dub dropped on time.
- Muse Communication licensed it in South and Southeast Asia, and released it on Muse Asia (YouTube) with weekly premieres.
- Netflix streamed it in a few regions like India, but only as a catalog title (not simulcast).
- In some countries, Crunchyroll was also available through Prime Video Channels as an extra add-on.
So if Season 3 happens, these are the platforms you should keep an eye on:
- Crunchyroll (for most regions)
- Muse Asia (for SEA viewers)
- Netflix (only in select countries)
- Amazon Prime Video Channels (if supported in your area)
In the End
There is a reason I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince became a fan hit. It is not just about power levels. It is about Lloyd acting like a child genius, blowing things up for fun, and somehow winning every fight. Every episode gave us chaos, comedy, and crazy magic.
Season 2 raised the bar. It gave us divine powers, church secrets, and new mysteries. And now we fans are waiting again. Waiting for that Season 3 teaser.
